Colossians 1 verses 21 to 23

21 And you were at one time strangers and enemies in your minds as expressed through your evil deeds,
22 but now he has reconciled you by his physical body through death to present you holy, without blemish, and blameless before him –
23 if indeed you remain in the faith, established and firm, without shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has also been preached in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become its servant.

Listening Prayer method – a method where you write what you think God would say to you after meditating and studying a Bible passage.

Are We Firm in Faith?

Bob, do you remember when you were estranged from me?  You served sin without even thinking about it. You were my enemy even though you were not even conscience of it. You were just a stranger far from me by your corrupt nature.  All the world is by nature corrupt.

But I loved the world. I came to the earth as a man, and My physical body was broken for You all. I paid the debt that satisfied justice. You may now be at peace with God – not an enemy. Now I may present you holy, unblemished, unblamable. Your debt is forgiven and all that remains is My unblemished-righteousness.

Stand firm in this faith. Many will try to get you to trust other things or even yourself.  Satan will test you and make you feel guilty, and He will make you feel condemned.  Stand firm in the faith of my loving act of justification.

Be my servant to share this gospel with the world.
