Colossians 2 verses 1 to 3

1 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for those who have not met me face to face.
2 My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that assurance brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God, namely, Christ,
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Are We Concerned?

Bob, like Paul, pray for those weaker Christians. I know you are concerned with their faith. The faith of your children, some of your friends, your country. They profess Christ, but they are not yet knit tightly together with Me nor with other Christians. They profess Me and know Me, but they are not fully committed to me or to each other. They still think there is something more satisfying in this world than Me and my people. Pray that they will be knit together in love, that they would be life changingly comforted and encouraged in Me, and that they would enjoy the riches of being assured that they are in Me.

Do you feel like you are also slipping into this same weak state?  Pray for yourself that you would enjoy the richness of the treasures that are in Me. I will do My part, but you must do your part. You must be intentional to invest in our relationship and with your relationship with other Christians.

Remember what marriage represents? The wife and husband represent the church and I in union. Do your part to love Me with the emotions and commitment as you would a spouse. Enjoy that same rich comfort, encouragement, and assurance in Me!
