The best message I’ve ever heard on this subject!!!!
My thoughts after listening.
1. We need convictions that a sin really is a sin. Many times we are not sure that we agree because we don’t see the sin hurting anyone. We need to study and be convinced with conviction that it is indeed sin. Only after we are convinced it it an evil will we have the desire to fight it.
2. We need to have expectant faith that Jesus will not lead us into temptation when we pray for help.
3. We need a daily-deep-love relationship with Jesus through prayer and His word.
How can we sin against the one who we truly love? ‘If you love me, you will keep my commandments.’
How can we commit another sin that he must die for?
How can we dishonor his sacrifice by committing the same sin over and over again?
