PART ONE:  The Messiah’s Predicted Coming and then His Arrival


 Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness; prepare ye the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. (Isaiah 40:1-3

你们的神说:「安慰,安慰我的百姓。」对耶路撒冷说安慰的话,又告诉他争战的日子已过去了;他的刑罚完结了。因为耶和华已使她付了双倍的罪债。有人声喊着说:「在旷野为耶和华开路,在沙漠地修筑我们神的道。(以赛亚书 40:1-3)


Ev’ry valley shall be exalted, and ev’ry mountain and hill made low; the crooked straight and the rough places plain. (Isaiah 40:4)

一切山谷都要填满,大小山冈都要削平,高高低低的要改为平坦,崎崎岖岖的要成为平原。(以赛亚书 40:4)


(Chorus) And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. (Isaiah 40:5)

Thus saith the Lord, the Lord of Hosts: Yet once a little while and I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. And I will shake all nations; and the desire of all nations shall come. (Haggai 2:6-7)

我也必震动万国,万国的珍宝就必都运来,我就使这殿满了荣耀。』这是全能之耶和华说的 (2:6-7)


The Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the messenger of the Covenant, whom ye delight in; behold, He shall come, saith the Lord of Hosts. (Malachi 3:1)

全能之耶和华说:「我快要差遣我的使者在我前面预备道路。你们所寻求的主,必忽然进入他的殿;立约的使者,就是你们所渴慕的,必然来到。」(玛拉基书 3:1)


But who may abide the day of His coming, and who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is like a refiner’s fire. (Malachi 3:2)

他来的日子,谁能当得起呢?他显现的时候,谁能立得住呢?因为他如炼金之人的火,如洗衣之人的碱。 (玛拉基书 3:2)


(Chorus) And He shall purify the sons of Levi, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness. (Malachi 3:3)

Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Emmanuel, God with us. (Isaiah 7:14; St. Matthew 1:23)

因此,主自己要给你们一个兆头。必有少女怀孕生子。你,少女,要给他起名叫以马内利(注:就是「 神与我们同在」的意思)。(以赛亚书7:14,马太福音1:23)


O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion, get thee up into the high mountain. O thou that tellest good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, behold your God! (Isaiah 40:9)

报好信息给锡安的啊,你要登高山!报好信息给耶路撒冷的啊,你要极力扬声!扬声不要惧怕!对犹大的城邑说:「看哪,你们的神!」(以赛亚书 40:9)


Arise, shine, for thy Light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. (Isaiah 60:1)

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee, And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. (Isaiah 60:2-3)

看哪!黑暗遮盖大地,幽暗遮盖万国,耶和华却要照耀你!他的荣美要现在你身上。万国来就你的光,君王来就你明亮的光辉。(以赛亚书 60:2-3)


The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; and they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. (Isaiah 9:2)

在黑暗中行走的百姓看见了大光;住在沉黑之地的人有光照耀他们。(以赛亚书 9:2)


(Chorus)  For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)

There were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flocks by night. (St. Luke 2:8)

And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid. (St. Luke 2:9)

有主的一位天使向他们显现,主的荣光四面照着他们,牧羊的人就极其惧怕。 (路加福音2:9)


And the angel said unto them: Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (St. Luke 2:10-11)

And suddenly there was with the angel, a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying: (St. Luke 2:13)



(Chorus)  Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, good will towards men. (St. Luke 2:14)



Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, thy King cometh unto thee; He is the righteous Saviour, and He shall speak peace unto the heathen. (Zecharaiah 9:9-10)



Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing. (Isaiah 35:5-6)

那时,瞎子的眼必睁开,聋子的耳必开通。那时,瘸子必跳跃像鹿,哑巴的舌头必能欢呼;在旷野必有水发出,在沙漠必有河涌流。(以赛亚书 35:5-6)


He shall feed His flock like a shepherd; and He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. (Isaiah 40:11)

他必像牧人牧养自己的羊羣;用膀臂聚集羊羔,抱在怀中;他引导母羊。(以赛亚书 40:11)


Come unto Him, all ye that labour, come unto Him that are heavy laden, and He will give you rest. Take His yoke upon you, and learn of Him, for He is meek and lowly of heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (St. Matthew 11:28-29)

凡劳苦担重担的人,可以到我这里来,我就使你们得安息。 你们当负我的轭,学习我心里的柔和谦卑,这样,你们的心就必得享安息。 (马太福音11:28-29)

PART TWO: His Death for our Sins, His Resurrection, and and His Victory




(Chorus) Behold the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world. (St. John 1:29)

He was despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. (Isaiah 53:3)

(Chorus) Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows! He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. (Isaiah 53:4-5)

(Chorus) And with His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)


(Chorus) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way. And the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6)

All they that see Him laugh Him to scorn; they shoot out their lips, and shake their heads, saying: (Psalm 22:7)



(Chorus) He trusted in God that He would deliver Him; let Him deliver Him, if He delight in Him. (Psalm 22:8)



Thy rebuke hath broken His heart: He is full of heaviness. He looked for some to have pity on Him, but there was no man, neither found He any to comfort Him. (Psalm 69:20)



Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto His sorrow. (Lamentations 1:12)

你们要观看,有像这临到我的痛苦没有?(耶利米哀歌 1:12)


He was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgressions of Thy people was He stricken. (Isaiah 53:8)

Why do the nations so furiously rage together, and why do the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord, and against His Anointed. (Psalm 2:1-2)



He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh them to scorn; the Lord shall have them in derision. (Psalm 2:4)



Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. (Psalm 2:9)



(Chorus) Hallelujah: for the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth. (Revelation 19:6)

Part 3:  Our Future Resurrection  because of the Messiah’s Work




I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. And though worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God. (Job 19:25-26)



Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. (1Corinthinas 15:51-52)

听着,我如今把一件奥秘的事告诉你们:我们不是都要睡,乃是都要改变, 就在一霎时,眨眼之间,号筒末次吹响的时候。(哥林多前书15:51-52)


The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put on immortality. (1Corinthians 15:52-53)

因号筒要响,死人要复活成为不朽坏的,我们也要改变。 这必朽坏的必要穿上不朽坏的,这必死的身体必要穿上不死的。(哥林多前书15:52-53)


If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

既是这样,还有甚么说的呢? 神若在我们这边,谁能和我们对敌呢?(罗马书 8:31)


(Chorus) Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and hath redeemed us to God by His blood, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. Blessing and honour, glory and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb, for ever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 5:12-14)
